Li Ping is currently the Head of Regulatory Affairs in AstraZeneca Malaysia. In her present role, she is responsible for driving the performance, strategy and compliance of the Regulatory Affairs team for the affiliate.

Li Ping is a registered pharmacist who graduated with a Master of Pharmacy from the International Medicines University/University of Strathclyde. She worked in the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) for 4 years before moving into the pharmaceutical industry where she worked in various multinational pharmaceutical companies.

In her 17 years of working in the Regulatory environment, she has developed diverse experiences – from managing submissions within different therapeutic areas and modalities, to piloting innovative filing pathways, as well as overseeing other functions including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain. She is currently a member of the PhAMA Regulatory Core Team, which defines and drives policy shaping initiatives and strategies for PhAMA member companies.
