Tia Chen is Senior Director, Country Head, SMM at AstraZeneca, where she leads teams across Malaysia and Singapore. She is a seasoned clinical research professional with more than 19 years of experience in global study and program management, line management, and clinical operations.

Tia is passionate about innovative science, patient centricity, inclusion and diversity, and talent development. Before joining AstraZeneca, she worked at several multinational CROs and a pharmaceutical company, spending most of her career in clinical trial management and leading study teams across Asia Pacific, including China and Japan, as well as Europe and the US.

Tia holds a Master degree in Immunology from National Taiwan University, is PMP-certified, and currently serves as a member of the Clinical Research Committee in PhAMA.
